Vaping Trends in 2023

Are you one of the 8+ million Americans that enjoys the sweet sensation of cloud chasing?

If so, keep current with these 5 vaping trends that you can expect to continue through 2023, and beyond.

The Proliferation of Flavors
We’ll lead with this one because it’s hardly new, but you can expect e-liquid producers to continue to push the envelope with new, exciting flavors.

Gone are the days when basic menthol, vanilla and “classic tobacco” were the only flavors you could enjoy in a vape.

We’re living in an era where, if you can think of it, there’s a vape juice that captures it. Today’s modern market has vape juices flavored like exotic fruit, alcoholic drinks, and baked goods – with more to come.

AIO Kits Are Growing in Popularity
Some dedicated vapers love to build their own vape mods, and that’s not something that’s going to change.

But in the world of sub-ohm vaping, mesh coils, and advanced, powerful batteries, there’s just a lot to learn.

Too much for casual vapers, which is one of the reasons that AIO, or “All-In-One” kits are rising in popularity.

AIO vape kits contain devices, batteries, tanks, coils, and chargers, all pre-configured and more or less ready to use.

DIsposables Continue to Be Popular
The unrivaled convenience of disposable vapes continues to be a force to be reckoned with.

Just think about it. They are cheap, there are tons of options, and the non-refillable, non-modular design of most disposables means that leaks are rare (if not unheard of) and they are so easy to use. Many disposables are draw activated and have basically no parts to break.

Add into that convenience the sheer number of options there are out there, just in terms of flavors. There are hundreds of options.

Options like Elf Bars, Hidden Hills, and HQD Cuvie Bars, among countless others, are likely to continue to experience big growth in sales.

Plus, you just can’t beat the prices of some of these disposable vapes. Some are even less than $20.

Bigger…Er, Smaller Is Better
Some vapers might like carrying around bulky mods, especially if they built them themselves, but for most of us, well, smaller is just easier and more convenient.

Just look at how smartphones and other technological devices have evolved over the years. The overall trend is more power, more functionality, and a smaller footprint.

It’s the same with vapes. Batteries are getting smaller while retaining (or even improving) their power, and advanced coils heat up faster and extract more from smaller volumes of vape liquid.

Smaller vape devices are lighter and easier to pack and carry too, making them great for travel, not to mention the fact that they’re also more discrete for use in public places.

The Rise of “Smart” Vapes
Another thing we’re probably going to see is more vape devices that have smart technology, and which can integrate with smartphones or are compatible with special apps.

App integration and smart technology, as it develops, can give vapers precise control over wattage, heating, and battery loads that can custom-tailor the experience in terms of intensity, or simply to preserve battery life.

Smart technology and app integration can also potentially give users control over device usage and tracking.
