- If you do ever experience any issues with your dental X-ray machine, report them immediately to your service provider or, if your system is under manufacturer warranty, to the manufacturer. This will help prevent small issues from snowballing into much larger problems that can be more difficult, time-consuming, and expensive to rectify.
Sterilization and Disinfection
Sterilization and disinfection are two important components of routine maintenance of effectively any dental X-ray system.
Use only approved chemicals or disinfectants to sterilize the unit between patient exams, as unapproved cleaning agents can damage X-ray system components.
